A Dream Deferred: Transforming Young Lives Today
Founded in 2017, our academy is the realization of Imam Hamzah Abdul-Malik's dream that began over two decades ago. Our founder, a young teenager at the time, aspired to win the Moroccan Qur'an recitation competition and use the prize - acres of land - to establish a Qur'an school for young American Muslims. Years later, while reciting Qur'an at Muhammad Ali's memorial, Imam Hamzah Abdul-Malik was inspired to create a leadership academy where young Muslim boys could learn to apply the teachings of the Qur'an in their lives. Miraaj Academy is committed to nurturing the hearts and minds of young Muslims, providing them with the tools they need to succeed in all aspects of their lives Insha Allah.

At Miraaj Academy, we are committed to nurturing and guiding the next generation of young Muslims to become the torchbearers of their faith, future scholars, and leaders in their communities Insha Allah.
